Innovating China Business

In this new era where artificial intelligence and digital technology intertwine, AI is reshaping every industry and every organization worldwide with an unstoppable force. Facing the unknowns and transformations brought about by technology, HKU ICB consistently maintains a forward-looking and optimistic stance, dedicated to inspiring business wisdom through technology and activating endogenous growth momentum through innovation.
In active response to the era's call for developing "New Quality Productive Forces," and to deeply satisfy the profound needs for individual self-iteration as well as the sustainable prosperity of enterprises and society, HKU ICB proudly introduces the Artificial Intelligence & Business Transformation (AIBT) program. This program aims to cultivate exceptional entrepreneurs imbued with a tech-innovation spirit, visionary business leaders, and innovative technology talents. We pursue more than just the enhancement of business efficiency through AI; we are fully committed to integrating the humanistic spirit with frontier science to build a "people-oriented" smart society through innovation.
We bring together an expert faculty team from world-renowned institutions, possessing a unique blend of global innovation genes and Eastern management wisdom. Beyond sharing cutting-edge technological foresight, we are dedicated to helping cross-industry elites reshape their future-oriented mental models and systematically master the core skills required to harness AI. Welcome to the AIBT program—let us stand at the commanding heights of this era to decipher the fundamental logic, master the trends and solutions, and co-create a new future for intelligent business across Greater China!

Programme Objectives
AIBT aims to help cross-industry elites from diverse backgrounds achieve a strategic closed-loop of "Enhancing Efficiency and Accelerating Innovation" through an interdisciplinary curriculum. The program focuses on achieving the following five core objectives:
Reshaping Strategic Perception in the AI Era: To cultivate the critical thinking necessary during periods of technological leapfrogging, and scientifically deconstruct the fundamental logic of how technology impacts industry ecosystems; to help decision-makers accurately perceive epochal opportunities and reconstruct long-term corporate development strategies and action pathways tailored to the AI wave.
Fostering Organizational Evolution for "Tech for Good": Upholding the core principle of "Tech for Good" to build an agile, efficient, and human-machine collaborative culture of innovation; to nurture innovative leadership with a sense of social mission, efficiently drive cross-departmental alignment as well as cross-border cooperation among government, industry, academia, and research, and fully unleash innovative productivity.
Constructing Business-Anchored AI Application Scenarios: Rooted firmly in classic management theories and grounded in real-world business contexts, to formulate scientific AI deployment and implementation frameworks that precisely empower and supercharge core business operations with AI applications.
Establishing Strategic Barrier-Reinforcement Mechanisms: To accumulate proprietary data assets, intellectual property, and intangible assets, thereby constructing strategic moats that cannot be easily eroded by the democratization of technology; to cultivate dynamic core competencies, solidify business defenses, and ensure the long-term sustainability of competitive advantages.
Integrating Humanity and Science for Upright Innovation: To gain profound insights into technological ethics, legal compliance, and social responsibility, striking a long-term, healthy balance between humanistic spirit and frontier science; to empower students to become visionary pioneers who innovate with integrity in the AI era, working together to co-create a healthy, sustainable future for intelligent business.
