Mode and Schedule | Part-time Weekend Mode, with one intensive module on a weekend (Saturday and Sunday) each month, the entire programme is completed in approximately 18 months. |
Location | All students will attend the Inauguration Ceremony-cum-Residential Workshop, Final Project and Graduation Ceremony in Hong Kong. After that, the modules will then be held in five learning centres in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Chengdu respectively. To enhance students' learning experience and create an enriching communication and sharing platform, the Institute will make appropriate arrangements for students to attend classes at different learning centres. |

Innovating China Business
In the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies, business transformation (BT) are about continuously reshaping every industry and each organisation. When they work, they need to timely enhance performance, increase productivity, create competitive advantages, and sustain dynamic core competences. The future of Artificial Intelligence is still full of uncertainties, but we must be positive and optimistic, inspiring hearts and minds to explore together and create a ‘human-centred’ intelligent world!
Driven by fast-emerging technologies and new applications such as A.I. for wide adoptions in many aspects of life, China’s workplace has been evolving rapidly, leading to fundamental changes to work. Businesses keen to adopt A.I. and new technologies need to ensure that their talent strategy timely aligns to their technology roadmaps, while also making sustainable advancements in productivity and employee well-being through areas such as work redesign and aligning skills for people growth and organisation development.
In order to support the latest governmental initiatives for the New Quality Productive Forces (新質生產力) and to meet the social needs for individuals, enterprises and communities at large, this newly created academic programme (i.e. Artificial Intelligence and Business Transformation or AIBT) aims at developing our business leaders and talents to equip with knowledge, mindsets and skillsets about A.I. and other disruptive technologies in the 21st century.

Programme Objectives
- Systematically understand and apply relevant theories to identify the impact of AI and other disruptive technologies on enterprise’s future business strategies and develop corresponding action plans to embrace relevant changes;
- Critically apply the knowledge of digital transformation with cutting-edge technologies for commercial and social impact
- Enlighten management insights of fostering innovative competence and corporate culture to lead business transformation with a good balance between humanities and technologies
- Assist enterprises to establish and promote the development of agile organisations, promote cross-departmental cooperation internally, and promote cross-border collaboration between government, industry, academia and research externally to help the enterprises and society improve new quality productivity
- Strike a good balance between the humanities and sciences, respect ethics and regulations and lead enterprises to become a member of integrity and innovation in the community, and create the future of smart business

Upon completion of the "Residential Workshop", 10 compulsory modules and the "Final Project", and after passing the evaluation, students will be awarded the "Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence & Business Transformation" by the University of Hong Kong at the postgraduate level.

Meals and travel expenses: | Students are responsible for their own accommodation and transportation during the programme. If the Inauguration Ceremony-cum-Workshop is held offline, accommodation during the period will be arranged by the Institute and the costs will be covered accordingly. |
