Mr Cai is currently the Vice President of Information Technology of DHL Global Forwarding Greater China, responsible for IT strategy development and day-to-day management of the company in the Greater China region. He has been in the logistics industry for more than 20 years, and has served in the world's top 500 logistics companies such as American President Lines and DHL Global Forwarding. His long-term experience working in foreign logistics companies has accumulated rich practical experience in international projects and an open international mindset. He has led his team to win the company's Global CEO and Asia-Pacific CEO awards for several times, and was awarded the China Digital Contribution Personality Award in 2019.

Mr Cai has been committed to the digital transformation and innovation of traditional logistics systems, as well as the digital cultivation of talents within the company. In the face of the transformation challenges of traditional companies, he firmly believes that information technology is the disruptor and reformer of business rules, and that digital transformation is the necessary means to promote the upgrading and development of the company. Since four years ago, he has combined the resources of mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to explore and experiment the digital transformation of the logistics system in intelligent warehousing, air transport, sea transport, road transport, cross-border transport and railway transport. At the same time, he also actively communicates with customers, terminals, yards, customs brokers, shipping companies and other upstream and downstream of the logistics ecosystem, trying to establish a data sharing ecosystem.

Mr Cai is an EXIN certified PDPP/PDPF/ISFS/ISMP instructor. He is also a project management trainer and facilitator for in-house training. Based on his practical experience and rich industry case studies, he enables trainees to quickly understand and master relevant concepts and methods, and then practice them effectively. In the training, he always stresses that professionalism is technology, management is art, and that there is no unique answer to real practice but only the right way and the right time, which makes the trainees feel his powerful guiding power and executive force.

Mr Cai graduated from Fudan University - BI Norwegian Business School with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
