Mr Cai is currently the Vice President of Information Technology for North Asia and the Pacific at DHL Global Forwarding, responsible for IT strategy development and day-to-day management of the company's North Asia and Pacific region. He has been in the logistics industry for more than 20 years, and has worked for Fortune 500 logistics companies such as American President Lines and DHL Global Forwarding. His long-term experience working in foreign logistics companies has accumulated rich practical experience in international projects and an open international mindset. He has led his team to win the company's Global CEO and Asia-Pacific CEO awards for several times, and was awarded the China Digital Contribution Personality Award in 2019.
He has been committed to the digital transformation and innovation of traditional logistics systems, as well as the digital cultivation of talents within the company. Facing the transformation challenges of traditional B2B companies, he firmly believes that information technology is the disruptor and reformer of business rules, and that digital transformation is the necessary means to promote the company's upgrading and development, and has been exploring and experimenting with digital transformation within the company by combining the resources of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan since eight years ago. Since 2023, he has moved to Tokyo to take charge of the company's North Asia and Pacific region, focusing more on the company's agility and digital transformation in different cultures and regions.
Mr Cai is an EXIN certified PDPP/PDPF/ISFS/ISMP instructor. He is also a project management trainer and facilitator for in-house training. Based on his practical experience and rich industry case studies, he enables trainees to quickly understand and master relevant concepts and methods, and then practice them effectively. In the training, he always stresses that professionalism is technology, management is art, and that there is no unique answer to real practice but only the right way and the right time, which makes the trainees feel his powerful guiding power and executive force.
Mr Cai graduated from Fudan University - BI Norwegian Business School with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
