Dr. Charley Dong possesses more than two decades of experience in international marketing and branding. He has previously held senior roles like CDMO, Head of Media and GM of Brands & Digitalization for a range of multinational corporations and renowned brands, including Yum!, Coca-Cola, Playboy, Yili, Fonterra Group, and Midea. Under his leadership, these teams collectively received more than 100 marketing and advertising awards. Currently, Dr. Dong serves as a Global Partner at O2 Technology, overseeing global expansion and AI-driven transformation efforts across the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr. Dong’s scholarly contributions include his publication of a Chinese definition of the Metaverse, structured around the START model, on Guangming.com. This work has not only been incorporated into various encyclopedic references but has also garnered widespread citation within academic and professional circles. In addition, Dr. Dong maintains active research and practical engagement in Generative AI, AIGC and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Additionally, he holds the position of President of the Globalization Committee at IAB China.

Beyond his research activities, Dr. Dong regularly participates as a panel judge for multiple marketing awards across the Asia-Pacific region—among them Effie, OneShow, the Shanghai International Advertising Festival, Morketing, the Golden Mouse Digital Marketing Awards, and the Top Mobile AI Marketing Awards. His expertise extends to strategically enhancing business and marketing performance through diverse, cross-border analytical frameworks.

Dr. Dong earned his Doctor Degree in Communication from Peking University and holds a Master Degree in International Business from Grenoble École de Management, France.
