Dr Ray Li has over three decades of leadership experience across large‑scale enterprises, multinational financial institutions, and global consulting firms. His work focuses on enterprise transformation, capital and finance‑business integration, and governance in complex and rapidly evolving environments. He currently serves as Board Director and Adjunct Professor at the HKU Institute for China Business, Independent Non‑Executive Director of Kerry Properties (Chair of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee), HSBC Insurance, Hang Seng Insurance, and other listed companies.

From 2017 to 2023, Dr Li served as Group Finance Director and Executive Committee Member of Ping An Group. In this role, he led group‑wide strategic and finance‑business transformation, digitalization, and the development of AI‑enabled intelligent governance systems. His earlier senior management roles at SF Group and internationally renowned consulting firms provided him with extensive cross‑industry, cross‑cultural and cross‑cycle experience in enterprise strategy and governance.

Dr Li holds a PhD in Finance and is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA / AICPA / CGMA). His research and teaching interests include corporate strategy, capital management, board governance, decision‑making under complexity and uncertainty, leadership development, and organizational resilience. He is committed to integrating frontier business theories with deep enterprise practice to help organizations build forward‑looking strategic and governance capabilities.
