Dr Ray Li
Adjunct Professor; Board Member of Multiple Companies
Dr Ray Li has extensive cross‑sector experience across finance, technology, and property, with a primary focus on board governance, corporate strategy, corporate finance, risk and uncertainty, and strategic oversight and accountability. He serves as Independent Non‑Executive Director at several large multinational enterprises, and as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee, with responsibilities across audit, risk, corporate governance, and key board committees.
Dr Li’s research and teaching centre on governance structures in complex environments, strategic transformation, cross‑border decision‑making, and long‑term value creation. He is the creator of two frameworks — Certainty Risk and Quantum Strategy — which provide structured approaches for boards and senior leaders to identify critical variables, strengthen decision quality, and enhance governance resilience in uncertain environments.
In addition to his board responsibilities, Dr Li teaches executive and professional programmes, integrating governance practice, strategic thinking, and systems‑based analysis to support entrepreneurs and senior leaders in building organisational capability and sustainable value.
He is a member of AICPA and CGMA, and holds a PhD in Finance.
