Mr. Xu is the founder of CoFound Innovation Hub, which is dedicated to research, consulting and training services on corporate strategy, change and innovation, with its leading methodology and team co-creation model implemented in many enterprises. He has served more than 150 companies across many industries, including finance, energy, internet, automotive, and technology, and has received high praise from his clients.
Mr. Xu has extensive management experience in both multinational and local companies, as well as professional qualifications and years of practice as a corporate consultant and coach: Mr. Xu was the Vice President of GE China and the first General Manager of GE China Innovation Centre (Xi'an) from 2010 to 2013. Mr Xu was the Vice President of GE China from 2010 to 2013, and the first General Manager of GE China Innovation Centre (Xi'an). He worked for IBM China for 10 years and held many important professional and leadership positions. Currently, he is a director of Shaanxi Drum Group, a major equipment manufacturer, where he served as Vice General Manager of Strategic Transformation and Marketing. The transformation strategy of Shaangu, designed by Mr Xu, is a best practice in the transformation of Chinese manufacturing companies into service companies, and has become a benchmark for many of his peers to study. The service transformation strategy has transformed Shaanxi Drum from a traditional manufacturing company into a manufacturing service provider, with a fundamental change in its profitability and organisational model.
He is a lifelong CMF (Certified Master Facilitator) certified by INIFAC, the world's leading certification body for facilitation technology, and is one of only four lifelong Master Facilitators in the Greater China region. He has a wealth of practical experience in the use of facilitation technology to help companies build strategic consensus, breakthrough innovation, and marketing and organisational change. Mr Hsu is one of only four lifelong master facilitators in the Greater China region. Mr Koh was a private board coach for the CEO coaching organisation Vistra, where his depth of insight and coaching skills were instrumental in helping student entrepreneurs navigate through their critical transition and development phases. Mr Hsu has served as an adjunct professor at several universities, as well as an independent director, management consultant and corporate coach for a number of companies, coaching them through continuous transformation, innovation and change. Mr Xu was once appointed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council as an expert member of the ‘Central Enterprises from Domestic First-class to International First-class Project Team’.
He is a contributor to Business Review and other business media, as well as the author of several best-selling management books. He is also the author of several management bestsellers, including Dancing with Elephants - Learning Transformation from IBM, Six Practices of Enterprise Transformation, The Industrial Internet, Light Strategy: Strategic Methodology for the New Era, Light Strategy: Agile Decision Making in the Quantum Era, and Bright Leaders: Leadership Leapfrogging and Organisational Transformation in the 21st Century. Mr Xu received his MBA from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
