Mr Vincent Wang is currently the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Verite Consulting International Limited (VCI). In the past 8 years, VCI has undertaken more than 100 large scale consultancy projects and has accumulated visits and industry research in more than 20 countries. The total annual turnover of our clients exceeds $300 billion, and the number of employees and production value exceeds that of 93% of management consulting firms in Taiwan. He is ranked among the top 9% of management consulting firms in Taiwan in terms of turnover and has an 80% renewal rate for long-term clients.
Mr Wang is the former head of brand and channel of ZyXEL global headquarters, responsible for directing ZyXEL's global brand marketing development plan. During his tenure, he grew the brand equity of ZyXEL from NT$6.88 billion (2004) to NT$10.67 billion (2007) in just three years, increasing the brand value by NT$3.79 billion. ZyXEL was ranked seventh among the top ten international brands in Taiwan in the 2007 Interbrand Brand Appraisal Survey.
During his tenure at the helm of ViewSonic's Asia Pacific marketing, he planned and directed operations in the mainland market and won the LCD brand market championship in mainland China in 2003, edging out competitors who had been working in mainland China for many years, and at the same time, won the double championship in total turnover of LCD monitors in Taiwan and mainland China. During his tenure as the General Manager of Sunfar Computer Co., Ltd. (a listed company), his annual turnover reached a record high of US$200 million, and he also proposed the strategy of making "consumers enjoy the best shopping experience", which successfully differentiated his positioning strategy and made Sunfar Computer the number one computer retailer in Taiwan in the eyes of consumers and distributors.
Mr Wang has shared his successful experience of developing Taiwanese brands overseas in many international forums, including the CEO International Brand Strategy Summit 2003-2004, and was awarded the "Future Leader" award by World Magazine. Mr Wang graduated from National Chengchi University with an EMBA in Business Administration.
