Prof. Niu earned his Bachelor degree and PhD in Political Science from National Chengchi University, specializing in political public relations, public relations crisis management, personal public relations and election advertising. 

Over the past two decades, he has participated in numerous corporate training programs for corporations and listed companies across the Greater China region. With his expertise in political public relations, he has been invited to address on various topics related to cross strait relations, Taiwan political and election public relations on different TV programs, namely TVBS, ETTV in Taiwan, Phoenix TV in Hong Kong, and CCTV, Shenzhen TV in Mainland China. 

Upon earning his PhD and becoming a professor at Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, he has consulted and advised various corporations on public relations and media strategies. With the industry experiences, he combined his industry knowledge into his teaching programs by opening courses such as “Communication Ethics and Regulations”, and “Theories and applications of interpersonal communication”; currently, he has published over 700 research papers and studies  on various renowned academic journals in Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
