With over 25 years of teaching experience in finance, Ms Gao has a good understanding and experience of finance theory and market information operation.

During her tenure as a university tutor, Ms Gao was responsible for the management of the Financial and Trade Research Unit of HKUST in collaboration with Thomson Reuters. In addition to co-organising the Thomson Reuters Training Certificate Programme with Thomson Reuters, she also incorporates the latest Thomson Reuters data and information into her teaching, enriching students' learning experience and enhancing their ability to grasp theory and practical experience to nurture financial professionals.

Ms Gao graduated from National Taiwan University with a degree in Economics and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She worked in the China tax department of Ernst & Young and has extensive experience in multinational operations and financial management.
