TC holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Master of Science in Multimedia Science and Technology, and a Certificate in Big Data and Social Analytics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently a member of the Hong Kong Designers Association, a member of the Interaction Design Council of China (IXDC), and a Principal Consultant of Dewey Innovation.
TC has worked for AFP, HKET, Lenovo Motorola, Vivo, Oppo, Tencent, as design expert, UIUX director, research centre director, product strategy director, etc. He has worked across user research, product strategy, experience design, interaction design, design management and other professional fields, leading smart phones, smart watches, smart home, AR glasses, social platforms, cloud services and artificial intelligence assistants. He has led the design and research of different products and services including smartphones, smart watches, smart homes, AR glasses, social platforms, cloud services and artificial intelligence assistants. He has led his team to win more than ten awards including CES 2018 Innovation Award, 2013 Good Design Award and more than thirty domestic and overseas invention and appearance patents.
In addition to more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the high-tech industry, he has also taught at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HKU SPACE at the University of Hong Kong, CKAD at the Li Ka Shing Education Foundation and Southern University of Science and Technology for 10 years. He currently focuses on research in areas including artificial intelligence, business innovation, and experience strategy.
