Mr. Tong is a senior corporate consultant who specialises in academic research on the interface between technological innovation and traditional industries. Mr. Tong has been in mainland China since the early 1990s and also has many years of experience working with multinational companies and start-ups. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of RaceFit International (a successful LEAP company in Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks) and has been involved in various hands-on digital transformation projects.

Mr. Tong has been in the communications and technology industry for over 20 years and was the General Manager of Go-to-Market Product Management for Motorola's Mobile Device Division in Greater China. He has witnessed and driven many industry and corporate transformations, such as the development of personal communication devices and technologies, the promotion of mobile Internet and value-added services, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data and other technology applications, and has achieved outstanding results.

Mr. Tong graduated early from the University of New South Wales, Australia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He also completed an Executive MBA degree from the City University of Hong Kong, where he continued his academic research and study on digital transformation.
