King has over 20 years’ experience in marketing, sales, brand management and business development in Asia Pacific region. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies and European luxury brand.
Subsequent to performing successfully a number of key positions at FMCG companies, he joined Montblanc Asia Pacific as Regional Marketing Director and was responsible for brand management, strategic planning and business development in Asia Pacific region. In his role, he led marketing teams from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand to have successfully maximized brand awareness and achieved market leader position, especially recognized prestigious brand image and commercially success in mainland China. During his time with Montblanc for over 8 years, he also served as business head of regional sales responsible for managing a numbers of agent markets in the region and had developed impactful VIP customer CRM programs to lead the region as well.
Prior to joining Montblanc, King served as Senior Marketing Manager of Anheuser-Busch Asia Inc. responsible for national event sponsorship & field promotion of Budweiser beer in China. Earlier in his career, he held key positions as marketing manager and business development manager at consumer product division of Pfizer and Warner-Lambert China & HK respectively where he managed group of products including confectionary brands (Halls, Vita-C & Clorets), Schick shaving products and Listerine mouthwash. Prior to working for Fortune 500 corporates, King was in Lam Soon Marketing Services Co. Ltd. with positions of sales manager of East China and product manager China managing series of cooking oil including Red Lantern, Knife & Soon brands.
Today as corporate trainer and consultant, King leverages his solid experience gained from corporate management with his advantage on project management and building top performance teams into his corporate training and consulting projects. He highly makes use of blend of practical business management experience from FMCG and luxury retail industries into facilitations, training engagement and case studies.
King has a Master of Business Administration from University of Bradford Management Centre, U.K. He also completed corporate training program by Thunderbird the American Graduate School of International Management in USA. He speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. King had been stationed in key cities of Mainland China for over 8 years in total.
