Joe Hu has 25 years’ experience in marketing and sales management, especially strong in Marketing Strategy, Positioning & Branding, Integrated Marketing Communications, Big Data Application and Hacking Growth.  Mr. Hu played a major role in two startup companies which become the top players in its market and are successfully acquired by listed companies of HK and US stock markets. This demonstrates his strong sense of identifying consumer needs and business models, and making things happen through quick execution with the team.

Mr. Hu has been recently the CMO & Partner of SWEET 7, a premium fresh-made tea brand with 1700 chained store across China. Prior to SWEET 7 he was the China Brand Head of Goodyear Tire, Greater China Region Marketing Director of Culture and Education Section of British Embassy, CMO of VIPABC and CMO of YIMI Education. VIPABC and YIMI were acquired and merged by and PINAN (HK:601318) and ONESMART(NY: ONE)respectively.

Mr. Hu holds a Master of Management from the London School of Economics, UK, and a Master of Marketing from Birmingham University, UK.  He also published the book <Minimalist Marketing> in 2021, which has become one of the best-selling marketing books in China. It is rated 8.2 at DOUBAN,85% at Weixin Reader and ranked top 3 of its category at JD.COM. Prior to this book, he published various papers and articles at academic journals and newspapers, subjects include “Breakthrough of 6PS: Culture”, “Advertising is not almighty: Product is the Key”, “Bitter but Necessary Step: Current Unproportionate Foreign Investment Structure”, etc.
