Hubert is currently Executive Director of Spark Asset Management Holding Ltd (SAMH) and Strategy Director of AquaBloom Sports Technology Group (ABSG) in Hong Kong. SAMH invests and manages commercial properties with repositioning opportunities in China, Macau, and Hong Kong. SAMH is one of the largest sports technology groups in Asia with focus on AI, sport events, biotech, and education.

Prior to SAMH and ABSG, Hubert was with Hutchison Whampao Property Group as a General Manager of Shanghai/East China, China Managing Director of Portman Holdings LLC, and China Managing Director/Partners of LVMH Group and L Catterton Fund in Greater China area. He has more than 28 years’ experience in property investment, development and management of Grade A office buildings, hotels, serviced apartments, villas and condominiums for sale, and shopping malls in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and Miami. Besides, He assisted retail brands in formulating and executing entry and growth strategies in China.

Hubert graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Master of Philosophy degree, University of Oxford with a Master of Studies degree, University of Cambridge with a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Studies degree, and University of Newcastle with a Doctor of Business Administration degree. Hubert is a special advisor on Creative Economy Committee for the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, a senior advisory member of the University of Cambridge Asian Real Estate Finance Alumni Society, a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (Shanghai Chapter) and various professional bodies, including Chartered Institute of Housing (UK), Institute of Marketing (HK), and Asia Pacific Marketing Confederation (Singapore).

He is a voracious reader of philosophical books and historical novels, an avid fan of heavy metal music, and a qualified six-star marathon runner.
