Dr. Ng has been managing branding and retail operations in the pan-Asia-Pacific region for almost 30 years. He has overseen brand development and business expansion in China and Asia-Pacific regions, including Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, and other regions. Dr. Ng has successively held important positions in Luxottica Group, Johnson & Johnson Medical, Essilor (France), Megane Top in Japan, etc. He is experienced in FMCG, medical equipment, healthcare, Digital optics, skincare and cosmetics, etc., and is mainly responsible for brand building, business expansion, marketing and retail operations. Dr. Ng has extensive experience in marketing, brand building, retail management, service operations and experience design.

During his tenure as the chief marketing officer of Essilor, the world's largest optical lens manufacturer, he led Nikon's Digital Optics and Essilor's Anti-fog Nano lenses to be awarded the "Most Innovative Brand in Digital Optical Lens" and "Most Well Known Digital Optical Lens Brand" by Focus Media and Youku Media. It has successfully launched in the markets of Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and China and has been a leading brand of high-end digital optical lenses in the market ever since.

Dr. Ng graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and postgraduate study in MIT Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Now is the Programme Director and Research Supervisor of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), Smart Retail and Experience Strategy (SREM) and Consumer Psychology and Intelligent Marketing (CPIM) post-graduated programmes at the Institute for China Business of the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Ng also is the representative of the CAVE Project of the University Human-System Interaction and Simulation Laboratory (HIS), a member of the Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC). Dr. Ng’s research focus on Neuromarketing, brand marketing, consumer psychology, market insight generation, retail and shopper experience management. He is enthusiastic about educating and cultivating a new generation of marketing and retail management professionals with passion and a forward-looking vision. Dr. Ng is often invited to attend local and global summits and forums to share professional knowledge and experience as an expert speaker for the industries, which included China Linkshop Conference, Yiwu Product Summit, Asia Pacific Customer Service Council (APCSC), China International Experience Design Committee (IxDC), Business Think Tank (IBMG), CMO Training Camp, Qin Linghui, etc.
