Dr. Andrew Hui is the General Manager/COO of Canossa Hospital in Hong Kong. He was the General Manager of the Greater China region and Korea for ALK Pharmaceuticals from Denmark. He has been engaged in hospital management, strategic marketing, market expansion, product innovation, development and introduction in the Greater China region and Korea for over 25 years. Dr. Hui is the winner of the 2014 Greater China Outstanding Marketer Award.
His main research interests are on the doctor-patient relationship, doctor-patient trust, the importance and elements of the patient journey, etc. Part of his researches have been published in international journals such as the Journal of Business Research (JBR), etc. From 2014 to 2015, he also won the Best Research Design Award, Distinction Awards and Outstanding Alumni Award of the DBA Program from the City University of Hong Kong. Dr. Hui also participated in voluntary works in different media, such as radio programs, newspapers, university think tanks, etc., and is invited as an honorable lecturer at universities from which he shared his rich experience in business management, health economics, leadership, and strategic planning.
Dr. Hui owns dual Fellowships from the Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives (HKCHSE) and Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM); Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) by ACHSM, a Doctoral degree in Business Administration from the City University of Hong Kong, a Master of Arts degree from the University of Exeter in the UK, a Master of Science plus a Bachelor of Science degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
