Mr. Richard Zong has more than 20 years of experience in data analysis, market research and business operations.  Currently serving as the Director of Ipsos Digital Insight Research Institute, Mr. Zong promotes theories and technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technology, social science in the field of consumer insight generation. 

Mr. Zong also leads the development of consumer digitalisation and marketing technology to empower enterprises’ consumer insight capacity. He has long been engaged in market research, marketing data analysis, digital product development and commercial operations and has extensive working experience in helping research organizations, company clients and startups. The industries Mr. Zong has served includes mobile Internet, personal care, dairy products, consumer electronics, automobiles, real estate and other industries. During his tenure as an executive in research business, Mr. Zong accumulated business operations experience, knowledge and insights into business models and technological innovation. Mr. Zong’s research interests include advertising creatives, media and brand research, and media effectiveness evaluation. He is also experienced in research on AI, insight digitalization and mobile internet.  

Mr. Zong is the Executive Member of the Council of CMRA (China Market Research Association) and member of ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion and Market Research). He promotes the digitalization for consumer research actively by delivering speech on various industries events and enterprise training.
