George Chen is a well-known enterprise management and digitalization expert in China, with 25 years of experience in the management consulting and IT consulting industries. He founded BCG Platinion, the IT consulting arm of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), in greater China, and served as a managing director for five years. Prior to that, he was an executive partner of IBM Consulting leading its retail consulting practice in China, and global partner of Aon Hewitt Consulting. George was the co-founder of Han Consulting, which was China’s largest ERP consulting company, in his early career, he was a senior project manager of Hewlett Packard Consulting.

In consumer goods and retail, high-tech, metallurgy and chemical, automobile and machinery, logistics, banking, insurance and other industries, George led teams to deliver consulting service projects for more than 100 China and global enterprises. He is familiar with different organizational cultures of private enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and multi-national corporations. He led various types of business transformation, organizational change and digital transformation, on topics of sales and marketing, operations management, finance management etc.

Mr. Chen graduated from Fudan University in 1992 with a major in management science and received his MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2002.
