Ms. Caroline Wang is a human resources management professional with a successful career spanning over 30 years with multinational companies in various industries and locations. Her rich experience in the finance, retail and hospitality industries harnessed a deep and holistic understanding from organization design and development, change management, leadership development, talent management, performance management to the fundamentals of human resources function. Her professional journey in the US and Greater China has helped to develop her sensitivity to the need of culturally diverse organizations in both mature markets and developing markets.
She has dedicated 17 years to the banking sector, leading and participating in organizational change management, human resources planning, and talent management system construction. This has allowed her to accumulate a wealth of practical management experience. She served as the Head of Human Resources for Standard Chartered Bank in China, where she was primarily responsible for human resources strategy and organizational design/development. Her responsibilities included talent strategy design, succession planning, large-scale organization change management, organizational and employee development, employee relations, and value positioning, covering all aspects of human resources management.
Recently, Ms. Wang has dedicated herself to the coaching and development of human resources professionals by sharing her years of practical experiences. She also continues to enhance and polish on the art of human resources management through the dynamic interaction with young talents as well experienced executives in the field.
Ms. Wang holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, as well as a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also possesses multiple training programs and international professional coaching certifications, including ICF ACC (International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach), Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach, and Gallup Strength Coach, etc.
