Professor Chien Ching-Wen is a professor at the Institute of Hospital Management, Tsinghua University. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from Iowa State University in 1987 and his Ph.D. in Healthcare Management from the University of Iowa in 1991. He previously served as the director of the Institute of Healthcare Management at Yangming University in Taiwan and the chairman of the Taiwan Medical Industry Management and Development Association. He has extensive practical experience in hospital management and is a leading expert in the field. Between 2008 and 2012, he was invited to deliver over 200 lectures.
