Background

Digital technology is transforming finance through asset digitisation. Models like RWA tokenisation, stablecoins, and DeFi are reshaping finance and creating a multi-trillion-yuan market. The digital asset market grows over 30% annually, making asset lifecycle management a critical skill. Finance professionals urgently need practical knowledge to seize these opportunities.

Challenges include fragmented understanding of rules and technology, lack of practical methods, and unclear compliance risks. This creates a need for integrated theory-practice-resource solutions.

As a global hub, Hong Kong uses its “One Country, Two Systems” advantage and clear regulations like the Stablecoins Ordinance and Policy Statement 2.0 on the Development of Digital Assets to bridge Mainland and global markets. It offers a compliant ecosystem for innovation.

Therefore, this programme adopts a “Theory-Practice-Resources” approach. It leverages Hong Kong’s strengths to provide end-to-end digital asset management training, supporting professionals in their transition.
