Ms. Xu Ying is a partner in King & Wood Mallesons' Shanghai office and focuses her practice on private equity/venture capital, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions (especially cross-border mergers and acquisitions), corporate governance, and the handling of inter-shareholder disputes.

Ms. Xu represents domestic and foreign funds and investment institutions in their investments in start-up companies, and also provides companionship services to high-growth companies in financing, structuring and restructuring, investor relations handling, incentive scheme design, and compliance system building.

Ms. Xu represents domestic and foreign companies and investment institutions in joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, particularly cross-border mergers and acquisitions involving foreign investment into China and Chinese capital going abroad. Ms. Xu has represented Chinese companies in numerous investments in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Japan, and has also worked in King & Wood Mallesons' Singapore office for several years.

Ms. Xu received her LLB and LLM degrees from Peking University Law School and her LLM degree from Harvard Law School.
