Dr. Tim LU is an expert in the fields of digital transformation, data science, digital marketing, and artificial intelligence. He has held important management positions in the supply chain, marketing, and other departments of General Motors and SAIC Motors. As the founder of one of the earliest big data teams in the automotive industry, he has a keen insight into the trends in marketing technology both domestically and internationally, and is adept at localizing and innovating by combining best practices from both domestic and international industries with the specific characteristics of the company.
He has nearly 20 years of practical management experience and has led various types of teams, such as product manager teams, data scientist teams, CRM teams, advertising management teams, etc. During his tenure as Director of Digital Marketing at SAIC Motors and Senior Manager of Big Data & CRM at General Motors, he led the digital transformation of marketing and user operations for Roewe, MG, Cadillac, Buick, and Chevrolet. He has implemented multiple industry-leading digital marketing projects, bringing hundreds of millions of financial value to the company, and has won numerous domestic and international awards, including the Silver Lion Award of Creative Data at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the Machinery Industry Association Award.
He obtained bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Tongji University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, respectively. He has profound theoretical foundation and rich practical experience in the application of data, artificial intelligence, and finance in marketing. And he has published papers in the world's top academic journals (Conference on Artistic Intelligence) and holds 2 patent and 6 software copyrights.
