Mr Wang had held the positions of Vice President of Microsoft (China) and Director of the Peter Drucker School of Management. With more than twenty years of experience in international companies, he had also worked at IBM and Motorola.

Since 2012, he has focused on management research, translation and teaching, mainly in the areas of organizational management culture development, corporate strategy transformation in the digital era, leadership development and innovation and entrepreneurship.

In 2019, he was invited to develop a module on "Business Thinking and Digital Economy" for the HKU ICB ; in 2020, he was invited to teach a module on "Effectiveness Management and Business Strategy"; in 2021, he will co-teach a module on "Strategy and Management of Cultural and Creative Enterprises" with Dr Gao Qunyao in one of the Senior Executive Programmes.

He holds a Master of Philosophy degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2010 and a Master of Business Administration degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2006, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Radio Department of Beijing Institute of Technology in 1990.
