Mr. Fan has previously served as the Asia Pacific HR Director and HR Director in the automotive, high-tech, and chemical industries. He has also worked as the Chief of the Foreign Investment Section in the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA). He was APAC HRD at Volvo Cars, and has held human resource management positions at the headquarters of Dell and Air Products & Chemicals in the United States. Additionally, he former served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for a well-known Chinese consumer goods company.

Currently, Mr. Fan is a guest lecturer in human resource management at several universities and a human resource management consultant for multiple companies. He holds a Master's degree in Human Resources from Cornell University (Cornell MILR) and a Bachelor's degree in English from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has also obtained leadership decision-making certification from Harvard University, as well as DDI and Hogan talent management certifications. He has authored several books, including "Practical Techniques for Human Resource Management in an Era of Uncertainty," "Memoirs of HR Directors in the Fortune Global 500," and has translated works such as "Powerful" "Leadership Passages" and "The Basic Principles of People Analytics".
