Mr. Yu is currently the Managing Partner of PWC China Talent and Organization Consulting. Having spent more than 20 years in management consulting, he has profound experiences in people management, organisation development, M&A and integration, and business transformation.
Regarding corporate transformation, Mr. Yu led the team to organize and improve the methodology suitable for the transformation of large and medium-sized Chinese enterprises, and successfully delivered multiple industry benchmark transformation projects. The TRANSFORM methodology they launched, especially the part related to “Driving Changes” has been very well recognised by the clients. In terms of talent and organizational management, Mr. Yu led more than 100 team members across the country to summarize the "strategic talent planning", "employee experience management" and other methodologies, which have recently been recognized and internalized by many leading companies in the industry. Regarding the impact of innovative technology on talent and organizational management, his insights have been included in white papers such as "Future Talent 2030" jointly released by PwC Global and the University of Cambridge. In terms of corporate mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Yu has repeatedly planned and implemented overseas mergers and acquisitions for leading Chinese companies. The types of mergers and acquisitions involved business segment divestiture, privatization of listed companies, family business integration, etc., and assisted large group companies to improve their internal mergers and acquisitions. He is a highly recognized expert in the market for integration, department construction, process and system implementation.
Mr. Yu studied statistics at Peking University, and graduated from the University of Connecticut with both bachelor and master’s degrees in actuarial science.
