Cindy integrates the lean operations DNA of German enterprise with international & strategic vision in higher education. She is currently a Doctoral Student in Business Economics, holds an MBA from Xiamen University, a bachelor’s degree from Chongqing University, and professional credentials as a Lecturer and Economist. Her research focuses on supply chain management and higher education internationalization.
Her career spans core supply chain roles in a German high-end manufacturing MNC and international education leadership positions in Mainland China and Hong Kong’s public institutions, giving her a distinctive dual grounding in “industry + education.
Before moving into education, Cindy spent nearly a decade in supply chain management in Linde (China). She led strategic initiatives such as lean design and localization-driven cost reduction in procurement, gaining deep insights into risk management and cost optimisation in global supply chains.
In higher education sector, Cindy served as International Programme Director in Xiamen universities, Dean of International School (undergraduate level) and University Engagement Manager in Hong Kong Baptist University. Over more than ten years, she has engaged with leading universities and multinational corporations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, spearheading cross-border curriculum development, international accreditation, Sino-foreign collaborative education programmes, and university-industry-government partnerships.
Cindy brings experience to integrating industry practice, global engagement, and Executive education in both the substantive design of transnational programme and the local restructuring of executive education curricula.
