Professor Anne Lee is the Head and Clinical Professor of the Department of Clinical Oncology at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, as well as the Chief of Service for the Center of Clinical Oncology at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital in China and the Oncology Specialist at Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong. She also serves as an Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at Queen Mary Hospital and Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.

Professor Lee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology (UK) and holds distinguished qualifications and honors, including the conferment of a higher doctorate (MD) by HKU in 2008, where she was awarded the Sir Patrick Manson Gold Medal. In 2009, she was invited as the Gilbert H. Fletcher Distinguished Visiting Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was honored as an Honorary Member of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) in 2012 and the Honorary Fellow of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) in 2013. In 2015, she was invited as a Lecturer by the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Professor Lee’s primary research contributions focus on nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). She serves on the editorial boards of several international medical journals and holds active roles in global academic organizations, including membership in the Global Advisory Group and the Head and Neck Cancer Expert Panel of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). Formerly the President of the Hong Kong Head & Neck Society and the Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Society, she is currently the Vice-President of the Hong Kong College of Radiologists.
