Dr Yip is currently engaged in asset management as an External Asset Manager at UBS and other private banks, providing discretionary high-end asset management for clients. He is also engaged in ESG related consulting work, providing sustainable development strategy and ESG reporting consultancy services for enterprises.
Dr Yip has more than 30 years of experience in banking, finance and consulting. He worked at CCIC Finance Limited, a merchant bank now merged into JPMorgan Chase Bank, as a Senior Manager of the China Business Unit, responsible for trade finance, syndicated loans, financial advisory and debt restructuring.
Dr Yip has studied in the UK and obtained dual master's degrees: a Master of Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University. Recently, he earned a Master’s in Management from Harvard University and a doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wales, TSD. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Chartered Banker (U.K.) and a Certified Banker (HK).
Dr Yip is also the Founding Chairman of International Chamber of Sustainable Development (ICSD).
