Dr Shan is the CEO and Chairman of PAG Group, a Hong Kong-based private equity firm. Prior to joining PAG Group, he served as a Senior Partner at TPG Capital and Chief Representative for China at JPMorgan Chase.
Dr Shan holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco and a Master's and PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He was formerly a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also previously served as an investment officer at the World Bank.
