Dr. SUN Mingchun is a Vice Chairman of the Chinese Financial Association of Hong Kong and Chairman of its Green & Sustainable Finance Committee. He also serves as a member of China Finance 40 Forum, a senior economic advisor at Tencent Group, and a member of the Sustainable Development Committee of Silk Road Fund.
Previously, Dr. Sun served as chief China/Asia economist at global investment banks such as Lehman Brothers, Nomura, Daiwa, and Haitong International. He also worked as an economist at China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange in the 1990s.
Dr. Sun obtained his doctorate degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and his bachelor’s degree in international economics from Fudan University.
